Ladies Bible Study - Passing the Mantel
A Precept-Upon-Precept Inductive Study by Kay Arthur
Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 PM at EWO, beginning April 3rd. Could there be a man or woman like Elijah in our time - someone with his mantle who would boldly believe God and proclaim His Word? This study from 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles (Course #3 in the Kings and Prophets series) will help you experience the unchanging power of God in changing times! The Reason for Hope Christian Women's Conference 2008
Wednesday, April 30, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
On April 30, Lincoln Christian College and Seminary will host The Reason for Hope day-conference for women. Scheduled speakers include Rebecca Manley Pippert ("Hope Has Its Reasons"), Ann Dowling ("At the End of the Rope") and Nancy Guthrie ("Holding Onto Hope"). The noon-hour electives will include an organ recital by Linda Storm on the world-reknowned LCCS Chapel pipe organ. Registration is $25 (lunch included!) until April 23, then $30 until this event. Designer Genes: Mother-Daughter Banquet

6:30 - 8:30 PM in the EWO Gym. Come celebrate all that makes you uniquely you! Honor the women in your life who have contributed physical genes and those who have cultivated spiritual ones by inviting your mom, grandma, mother-in-law, daughters, sisters, aunts, and special mentors. This evening is a celebration of how God has blessed our lives with the presence of other women! So come one and all for an evening of fellowship with your EWO sisters and encouragement from our special speaker.
