What to expect when you visit East White Oak
To make your first visit with us as easy as possible, we would like to recommend that you take the following steps.
#1 - Choose a Worship Service
Our worship services are at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 with only a few exceptions. Each service includes the same Message & Music. On your first visit, it's best to arrive about fifteen minutes early. Children, Junior High, and Senior High programs are offered at 9:30 and/or 11:00.
#2 - Get Directions to the Church
A printable map and directions are available here. East White Oak is located five miles northwest of Normal at the corner of Ropp Road and 2000 North.
#3 - Get parked and come in
We have reserved a space for you. Look for signs designating Visitor Parking. These spaces are on the east end of the parking lot. You will want to enter through the Main Entrance located beneath the drive-through canopy facing west.
#4 - Visit the Welcome Center
If you have any questions about where to take your children, finding rest rooms, or want to find out more about the programs of the church you will find friendly volunteers ready to help. The Welcome Center is located in the main foyer just to your right as you enter the building through the main doors.
#5 - Find your seat in the Worship Center
As you arrive you will receive a bulletin filled with interesting information about programs and activities of the church. Take a moment to read the special section just for visitors on the back. If you find it difficult to find a seat in the worship center an usher can help you.
#6 - Before you leave
If you need to pray with someone or ask a question about the Christian faith, one of our pastors would be happy to spend a few moments with you. Any usher or Welcome Center volunteer would be able to assist you with making that contact.
