Upcoming Outreach Opportunities

Pregnancy Resource Center
Financial and Prayer Support
The Pregnancy Resource Center is hoping to get an ultrasound machine this month. They are asking for prayer and for people to give toward this purchase. They need to raise $6,000. They also would like to add to their prayer team. They are in need of prayer warriors who would receive their prayer e-mails and pray, especially when they are counseling abortion-minded clients. If you are interested in being on this team, please contact Sherry Sherwood.

Baby Fold
Festival of Trees Sunday Brunch
Here is the perfect opportunity to attend one of the premier events in our community, support The Baby Fold organization, and begin to prepare your hearts for the upcoming Christmas season. Maybe you've attended the Festival of Trees for many years or maybe you've never been before, but this event on Sunday will allow you to enjoy a delicious hot brunch, listen to some wonderful holiday entertainment and browse through the spectacular display of trees. The theme for this year's Festival is "Christmas Around the World." What a wonderful way to begin our journey to celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus.
Join your family and friends after church on Sunday, November 18, 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the Bloomington Interstate Center. Tickets are available through Larry Van Gundy for $15. Tickets are good for unlimited general admission November 14-18, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM daily (5:00 PM on Sunday).

International Students, Inc.
Friday Night Talk Time
John and Linda Berger have informed us that there are presently two open dates to sign up for their Friday night Talk Times. This would be a great outreach for a small group or ABF class. The dates are November 9 & 30. There are plenty of available dates for second semester. If you are able to help them with this or have questions, you can contact them directly

Ministry & More
Expanded Outreach
Ministry and More has expanded their outreach by offering furniture and smaller household appliances to those in need. They are looking for smaller pieces of furniture, rather than large items, such as couches or hide-a-bed couches which would be difficult to handle. If you have something that is in good shape, you can drop it off during their hours of operation (Monday-Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM) or contact Don Winterland to make arrangements.
