Men's Ministries at East White Oak
The Men's Ministry of East White Oak facilitates spiritual development through Bible study, prayer, and relationship building among men of all ages and stages of life from thoughout the greater Bloomington - Normal area.
"From Generation to Generation" Men's Retreat
Attention Men from all generations! Everyone is invited to attend this year's men's retreat at Lake Williamson in Carlinville, Illinois: April 18-19, 2008! Various ages will gather for worship, fellowship, question/answer, encouragement & perspective, passing of wisdom, fun, and of course: FOOD! Our featured speaker will be Harold Peasley of MultiMinistries. Other activities will include Basketball, Mini-Golf, Swimming, Hot Tub, Climbing Wall, Nitendo WII Challenge, Walleyball, Games, and more! Transportation will be provided from the church. $60 per person for Dorm/Bunk Style room or $80 per person for Hotel Style 2 person room. Cost includes all meals and transportation. Register by filling out the Bulletin Response Card, visiting the Men's Ministry table in the hallway, or contact the church office.
Iron Sharpens Iron (ISI) groups
Proverbs 27:17 states: "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." These groups are designed for small groups of men in the Bloomington - Normal area to get together for the purpose of spiritual encouragement. The elements of prayer, encouragement, accountability, and study are stressed.
