Central Illinois Center for Biblical Studies
The Central Illinois Center for Biblical Studies (CICBS) is a ministry of East White Oak Bible Church. CICBS's purpose is to provide in-depth biblical teaching in a variety of areas including theology, spiritual disciplines, and practical Christian living that will move the believer in Christ from spiritual infancy toward spiritual maturity and on to personal ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-13) Believers from various denominations, professions, and educational backgrounds are trained together as members of one body for the purpose of accomplishing the Great Commission of the church.
The Scriptures say, "encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it." Titus 1:9b

Course Descriptions
TH 109 - Doctrine of End Times
A complete understanding of last things involves exploring the New Testament and the Old Testament. After tracing the ancient hope of Israel, this course examines the relationship of the Church to what was promised and focuses on the sequence of future events when God's promises will finally be realized. A thorough study of the Rapture, Anti-Christ, Tribulation, Millenium, Armigeddon, and much more.
TH 108 - Doctrine of Christ
The unique person of Jesus Christ, the God-man, His preincarnate state, incarnation, life on earth, death, resurrection, present ministries, second coming, and millennial kingdom.
TH 106 - Doctrine of Angels, Satan, and Demons
Biblical revelation about angels, their creation, nature, organization, and activities. Includes a study of Satan, demons, their identity, activities, and destiny.
